International people smuggling refers to the buying and selling of material or financial gain through illegal entry to a state of which the individual is not a permanent resident nor a resident at all. International people smuggling is not a homogenous activity since its facilitated by the price of trip, travel condition and arrival status varying significantly with it being carried out on land, air or sea. Globalization involves cooperation and coming together among company, nationals and authorities of different states, basically driven by businesses and trade internationally aided by internet connectivity. Globalization have had adverse impact on people’s way of life, environment, financial status and wellbeing, governance systems, human physical wellbeing in communities around the world. Globalization with international people smuggling are closely related and intertwine with each other as stated below.

Human smuggling is a case of individuals try to cross to other countries voluntarily and a good contributing factor is where employment opportunities in developing countries are not able to meet their high demand. Take a case of India where the increased flow direct foreign investment in retail trading in the entry of Indian big business, affected hawkers and small shopkeepers rendering them jobless (Koslowski,2009, p.341). Spread of technical and professional levels has led to foundation of group of the unemployed elite who need more and better working opportunities trying to migrate to countries where working conditions appears more conducive. Improvements in information, communication technologies have encouraged the desire for international migration relating to globalization in that case.
