- Why is a policy cycle an appropriate tool for developing a new policy?
There are various definitions for the policy. Public policy can be considered as the useful of taking an action or decision regarding the selection of goals and achieving specific situation. The process of making a policy is cyclic. A policy cycle can be seen as a guide, or heuristic or the process for policy development. The purpose of policy cycle is to bring an order or rhythm in the world, which would have been chaotic otherwise. it ‘ brings a system and a rhythm to a world that might otherwise appear chaotic and unordered.
2. How does the ‘new public health’ differ from the old public health approach?
According to the study of Tulchinsky & Varavikova (2010), The New public Health can be considered as the current or contemporary application of the wide range of the evidences gather through evidence based scientific studies. It is the process of gathering evidences about current technologies and the management system. The New Public Health approach implements all these measures to improve the health and well-being of people and population.
