Boamah, S. A., Read, E. A., & Spence Laschinger, H. K. (2017). Factors influencing new graduate nurse burnout development, job satisfaction and patient care quality: a time‐lagged study. Journal of advanced nursing, 73(5), 1182-1195.
INTRODUCTION
Recently graduated nursing professionals having an inadequate practical knowledge and are at particular risk of emotional turmoil, depression and suffer exhaustion in unsupportive practice conditions. Even after awareness of this fact that new graduate nurses are more susceptibility to experience burnout, advancement of burnout after graduation has not been examined longitudinally and in connection to statistic and instructive attributes before their entry into working life environment (Laschinger, Wong & Grau, 2012). This journal is an attempt to show the statistical data related to the number of new graduate nurses who had similar experiences as soon as they entered into their working life phase.
