The key objectives of the Apparel Brands Pty Ltd include:
1. Develop its brands and product range and sell directly to consumers.
2. Leverage e-commerce opportunities to reduce distribution costs and increase profit margins.
Task 1
In consultation with the assessor, a team of three members was established, of Mark, George, and Joseph. The objective of the team is to develop and create an e-commerce website, and present its proposal to the Board of Directors.
The team has decided to develop an e-commerce online store that blends the physical store and online e-commerce together.
The capital available for developing this e-commerce store is $40,000
In this regard, the team will focus on establishing the following:
1. The value prepositions, which entails the product, price, quality, and value offered to consumers.
2. The target market. What are the features of the target market? What are their drive and needs?
3. The benefits that the Apparel products and brands offered to consumers.
4. The steps needed to design and create the e-commerce store.
5. The payment options used by the store?
6. Will the store permit the customisability of the products, from the materials used, design, and production processes?
