Introduction

The employees build up for the most pivotal asset of an organisation who make a substantial amount of contribution in running the company which is decisive of the company’s future. It is through healthy collaboration and coordination among the employees that the organisation is able to achieve a name for itself in the market and also expand its profit margins. In this regard, it becomes a task of major importance to ensure that the employees stay dedicated and encouraged towards their assigned job roles (Lauby, 2005). For this purpose, the foremost consideration to be made is indirection of ensuring if the reflectors of employee satisfaction from their job are enabled in the organisation to the extent if providing a clear idea about employee’s seriousness towards the job. Amongst different constructs of measuring employee performance, employee attitude forms the crux of all constructs since, an understanding of the employee’s perception for the job and individual’s capability towards being influenced towards the work marks an important area of research in the field of business organisation (Gagné, 2014).

The research conducted earlier in the field of business have resulted in the findings that a good pay and benefits are not sufficient alone to assure the employee job satisfaction. Keeping in mind, the productivity escalation which occurs from the output delivered by employees with job satisfaction is crucial for successful running of the organisation in long term. In this context, the present report is structured for analysing the attitudes and job satisfaction dimension for exploring different areas specific to the employee’s attitude for gaining an insight into the employee characteristics which drive an individual’s attitude, the impact of employee attitude towards employee performance. Apart from these points, an identification of the metrics which can suitably assist in evaluating a conceptual as well as a practical base for influencing employee attitude for achieving a higher level of job satisfaction for them which is resultantly going to carry a positive impact on the organisational performance overall….
