Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australian who are known as Indigenous or Aboriginal Australians, who contribute total 3% of the Australian populations and approx 4.3% in Queensland, they do not have the high standard of healthcare, education and economic experienced by the non-indigenous or other Australians (de Witt et al., 2017). The European settlement or colonization had a profound, overwhelming impact on Aboriginal Australian people. Before European settlement indigenous people were healthy, and they depended on natural resources, but after settlement, they came in touch with various diseases and violent that results a considerable number of deaths. Aboriginal’s men and women did not wear clothes, but after the colonial settlement, they were forced to wear clothes and attend the prayers of the church. It was entirely against their belief. Many Childs were taken away from their families and forcefully put into white foster homes, and this was famous as the stolen generations (ALRC, 2018).

 A: Family Structure 

The traditional structure of the indigenous family is based on kinship and extended family groups. The kinship emphasizes on the equality of same-sex siblings. It is using the principle of same, siblings who are of same-sex considered as one. Two sisters are considering being equal thus a child of one sister technically has two mothers. The same system followed by the men and child of one man has two fathers. Instead of a cousin, they call themselves as siblings. This equivalence of same-sex group families into a robust extended group and these large group shares a hunt and the same campfire. These families live together and provide security and safety to each other members (Malaspinas et al., 2016).
